At Shah Mercantile Co., we recognize that trust in international trade is built on transparency, quality, and compliance. That’s why we provide internationally recognized certifications, third-party inspection reports, and documentation that meet the requirements of global buyers, regulatory authorities, and industry standards.
Why Certifications Matter in Global Trade
Certifications provide assurance of:
- Verified product quality and composition
- Compliance with food safety and mineral export regulations
- Hygienic handling and packaging processes
- Ethical and legal sourcing of products
- Smooth customs clearance at international ports
Whether you are importing Himalayan rock salt, premium Basmati rice, or industrial minerals like chromite and barite, we provide the documentation and certification needed to meet your country’s import requirements.
Our Certification Capabilities
1. Phytosanitary Certificate (for Agricultural Exports)
Mandatory for fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and plant-based items.
This certificate confirms that the product is pest-free, disease-free, and compliant with the plant health standards of the destination country.
2. Certificate of Origin (COO)
Issued by authorized chambers of commerce in Pakistan.
Used to verify that the product is sourced and produced in Pakistan. Required for customs clearance and to qualify for trade tariff benefits in certain countries.
3. Third-Party Inspection Reports (SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas)
Available upon request for minerals and agricultural products.
These reports verify quality specifications such as chemical composition, purity, API standards, or food-grade safety benchmarks. Recommended for high-value shipments or custom contracts.
4. ISO Certification (Available via Partner Facilities)
Our partner processors hold certifications such as:
- ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems
- ISO 22000: Food Safety Management
- ISO 14001: Environmental Management
These certifications are relevant for buyers requiring compliance in retail, industrial, or food supply chains.
5. Halal Certification (For Edible Products)
Applicable to food-grade items such as salt, rice, and processed products.
Meets the requirements for export to countries with Halal compliance standards, including GCC and Southeast Asia.
6. Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Lab Test Reports
Issued for each batch or shipment upon request.
Includes laboratory-based data on:
- Mineral purity and grade (e.g., Cr₂O₃ %, API gravity, mesh size)
- Moisture content and particle size
- Nutritional values for edible products
- Heavy metal screening and other custom parameters
